We are a mixed animal practice with surgeries in Strichen, Fraserburgh and Peterhead, and have been caring for the animals of Buchan since the 1950’s. Because we are passionate about animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, one of our pet clinics is open seven days a week and all our clients have access to 24-hour emergency care.
Jodie joined the Buchan team in June 2018 and has been a registered veterinary nurse since January 2017. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a particular interest in emergency and critical care patients. In her spare time she enjoys reading and writing books, horse riding and spending time with her rescue cat, Koda.
Samantha Buchan RVN

Samantha has recently become a clinical coach and now enjoys training our student nurses. In her spare time she likes running, cycling and spending time with friends and family.
Christine Croal RVN

She qualified in 2013 from Barony SRUC and went to work in orthopaedics before going back to where she trained. Christine has a keen interest in radiography, surgical nursing and embryology. Outside of work she is kept busy with her pedigree flock of Suffolk sheep and young Collie dog, Ness.
